Question Unable to get an ASUS TUF 505 RGB Keyboard to change style/mode?

Hi...
I'm having a problem trying to get my "Rainbow" default keyboard RGB scheme to change to a static color. Any ideas why the software isn't updating the color scheme on the ASUS TUF 505 DU Laptop? Thx.

Are you on the latest BIOS update for the laptop? Might want to uninstall and reinstall the app that handles your lighting controls.

Thanks a lot! It solved my problem with TUF FX 705DT. Now I can choose whatever color I like in Static or Breathing Mode.Have you been using TUF Aura Core? It solved the RGB problem on my TUF505DU-EB74 . Well, it's solved if you like red, which fortunately I do. It's the only color the app would let me use, but at least the unending rainbow ended. Thanks! It works for me only in red, but that's definitely a major step up from the rainbow. (Hmm, "Unending Rainbow" sounds like a good title for...something.)

it's not only in red. just double click the red square and then another window with color options will appear.
